Bassist Francis Hickey has spent a majority of his career touring internationally with various artists across a multitude of genres. A native of the Hartford, CT area, Francis was trained on the bass guitar and double bass by Grammy award winning Latin Jazz bassist Charles Flores.  In 2007, Francis attended the Berklee College of Music on partial scholarship and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Electronic Production and Design.

Since graduating from Berklee, Francis has performed and toured with artists such as Jimmy Connor, Adam Ezra, Broken Luxury, and Pat McGee.  He has shared the stage with or opened for acts such as The Wailers, Rusted Root, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, Robby Krieger, Kevin Garrett, The Gin Blossoms, and The Marshall Tucker Band, among others.  In addition to his extensive touring and live performance career, Francis has established a reputation as an in-demand session bassist in both the Boston and New York City areas and has appeared on over 100 albums.
As an educator, Francis has taught private lessons in the Boston area for several years and has recently written and filmed a series of instructional bass guitar videos for the National Music Centre in Calgary, Alberta.  He is currently the touring bassist for singer-songwriter Jimmy Connor.
