Adult Rock Band Class (Fall 2023)
If you’ve always wanted to play in a band, but didn’t know how to get started, grab that mic or instrument and let’s do this! Whether you’ve played before or are new to music, all skills are welcome!
Each band consists of 3-6 adults and 1 teacher and consists of drums, guitar, bass, vocals, and can also include keyboards. Plugged In forms the bands based on music preference and class availability. Bands develop a set list and work as a group, all with guidance from our trained teaching staff. Band sets can include original material and/or cover songs chosen by the students.
Each session culminates in the session-ending concert that benefits a charity chosen by our students.
New students don’t need to audition, but our program lead would like to learn more about the person prior to band placement to ensure the best fit possible.
If you encounter any issues or questions regarding the registration forms, please email Plugged In at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 781-444-1879.
Music for Everyone
What makes Plugged In special is our commitment to including all students. Whether a student requires financial support or extra support due to a disability, we make it possible for all students to access our programming.
Plugged In believes that all musicians, regardless of their ability to pay, should have access to after-school music programming. Select the Register with Check or Scholarship option above.
Plugged In’s inclusion policy means access to music education for everyone. In this win-win program for students with disabilities of all ages who require extra support are placed together with volunteer students in bands. In this environment of compassion and acceptance, all of our students learn the power of helping others and learn to love themselves. Select either of the registration forms above.
