Young people are living in a world full of conflict with few options to voice their

vision for the future.

 

Through collaboration with global peers on original songs, music videos and a

livestream concert, Peace Tracks provides youth the opportunity to be exposed

to diverse perspectives, build empathy, learn effective communication and share

their collective voice for peace with the world.

THIS FALL

Starting October 1

​

Over 14 weeks, with guidance from music teachers, you will collaborate with youth

In the US, Middle East and North Africa to compose, perform, record, and produce

original songs and music videos about issues your generation is facing and the

positive change you want to create in the world.

​

  • Peace Tracks is a cross-cultural, music-focused online exchange with both

  • synchronous and asynchronous participation

  • No musical background needed.

  • Just 1-2 hours a week.

  • Participation can be in or outside the classroom.

Peace Tracks is implemented by the Plugged In Band Program and is supported by the J. Christopher Stevens  Virtual Exchange Initiative (JCSVEI). JCSVEI is a U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational  and Cultural Affairs program administered by the Aspen Institute.
