Between the Notes
Between the Notes is designed as short introductions to our typical semester-long classes and to fill the gaps during vacation.
INTERSESSION BAND CLASS
Do you want to keep jamming with your bandmates from the spring or summer? Do you want to try playing with a new group of students? Or are you a new student hoping to try a Plugged In band class for the first time? This intersession band class includes three 90-minute rehearsals, and all groups will be invited to perform a song at our monthly Pathways to Music Open Mic on August 21st.

DRUM CIRCLE
Plugged In’s drum circle program consists of rhythm games and experimentation with different percussion instruments. This program is a great way for students of all ages and abilities to interact with the Plugged In community in a fun musical way.

SONGWRITING WORKSHOP
Whether you have lots of songwriting experience or have never written a song before, our songwriting classes include lots of fun lyric writing, melody writing, and composition exercises to encourage your creativity and break through writer’s block. Each class will have different tips, tricks, and advice, so students can come write with us as many times as they’d like to hone their craft!
